true Vera Balyura is the head designer & owner of VeraMeat Jewelry. Vera’s regular clients include Michel Gondry, Miranda July, Kyp Malone (TV on the Radio), Tilda Swinton and Amy Sedaris. Vera was born in Eastern Europe & has traveled her whole life -- first as the daughter of a film producer, later as a high fashion model and now as a designer looking for inspiration from every day magic. She loves Paris, London, Japan, Zurich and Taiwan...though she spends most of her time in her studio in New York. Vera started sculpting wood with her grandfather at the age of 2 & often draws from those formative years. Her biggest inspirations are talented friends, music, short stories & travel.
